Dyslexia Awareness Week

This week is Dyslexia Awareness Week at school. Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. It comes with many challenges and children with dyslexia struggle to keep up with their peers. However these children are critical thinkers and have the ability to think outside the box. Dyslexia affects about 10 % of the population and it is important to understand what dyslexia is. As part of the activities which will be going on at school during this week, we will be uploading an inspiring quote on the school’s website daily.

The Directorate for Digital Literacy and Transversal Skills is organizing free information sessions for year 4 parents/guardians about OTPC Tablets in November 2021. These 1 hr sessions will be online synchronous (live) sessions held through MS Teams.
We acknowledge the crucial role parents and guardians are playing in the education of their children. The sessions being offered will help participants better understand how OTPC tablets may benefit their child’s formal and informal learning whilst assuring their well-being.
Parents/guardians who are interested, can apply online from the following link: https://bit.ly/OTPCparentalsessions

F’Novembru 2021 id-Direttorat għal-Litteriżmu Diġitali u l-Ħiliet Transversali se jorganizza sessjonijiet ta’ tagħrif bla ħlas għall-ġenituri / kustodji tal-istudenti fir-raba’ sena. Dawn is-sessjonijiet ta’ siegħa, se jsiru onlajn permezz tal-MS Teams.
Id-Direttorat jirrikonoxxi r-rwol kruċjali li l-ġenituri u l-kustodji qegħdin ikollhom fl-edukazzjoni ta’ wliedhom. Is-sessjonijiet offruti se jgħinu lill-parteċipanti jifhmu aħjar, kif bl-użu tat-tablets OTPC, uliedhom jistgħu jibbenefikaw mit-tagħlim formali u informali waqt li jassiguraw il-benesseri tagħhom.

Biex jirreġistraw għal waħda mis-sessjonijiet, il-ġenituri jistgħu jużaw din il-ħolqa:
